MathPro Country Hills is MathPro's most northern Calgary centre, in the Bisma Centre at 110 Country Hills Landing NW, Unit 201. It serves families in areas including Country Hills, Country Hills Village, Harvest Hills, Panorama Hills, Coventry Hills, Hidden Valley, Sandstone Valley and Evanston, and is currently open Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. MathPro's core Calgary program is private one-to-one tutoring delivered in person at its learning centres. The company's current FAQ says online tutoring is no longer part of its services. MathPro's Calgary centres currently advertise Math tutoring from Grade 4 through second-year university, with Grades 1–3 considered case by case. Science, Chemistry, Physics and Biology are also offered, and current location pages mention AP and IB support and post-secondary courses at the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University and SAIT, depending on the course. MathPro's main service remains private one-to-one tutoring. Country Hills also currently offers a separate Grades 6–9 Math small-group homework-assistance program with a maximum of eight students, following the Alberta curriculum and meeting twice weekly (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday). MathPro currently offers a free initial consultation to discuss the student's needs, goals, schedule and tutor match. This should not be described as a formal free academic assessment.
Teaching approach: Tutoring follows the Alberta curriculum and the student's current coursework. Sessions follow the student's current school topics and may work through areas of difficulty, tests and course material. Test and exam preparation, including senior-high Diploma Exam preparation for Math 30-1 and Math 30-2, can be built into sessions. Parents receive progress updates after sessions, and MathPro uses a Student Hub for scheduling and progress management. Its Project CONNECT learning-resource platform provides notes, graded exercises, chapter tests and exam-preparation materials for selected courses (launch coverage names Math 4–9, Math 10C, Math 20-1 and Math 30-1); it is a resource platform, not online tutoring.
1. A family books a free initial consultation. 2. MathPro discusses the student's course, needs, goals and timeline. 3. A tutor is matched to the student. 4. Sessions take place one-to-one, in person at MathPro – Country Hills. 5. Tutoring follows the student's Alberta curriculum and current school topics. 6. Test/exam preparation can be incorporated as needed. 7. Parents receive progress updates after sessions. 8. MathPro currently uses a four-week renewal cycle rather than a long-term contract. MathPro's FAQ says students generally keep the same tutor unless exceptional circumstances require a substitute.
MathPro does not currently publish its standard Calgary one-to-one tutoring rate on the pages reviewed. The company uses a four-week renewal cycle and advertises no long-term lock-in; families should request current pricing during the free consultation. Separately, the Grades 6–9 small-group Math program at this centre is currently $250 per student per term for 2026–27 (observed October 6, 2026).
Prices change. Always confirm current rates directly with the provider.
MathPro says its Calgary tutors are in-house staff rather than independent contractors, and its FAQ describes a team of 80+ in-house tutors. Current hiring information requires subject-competency testing, academic transcripts, references and a Police Information Check/Vulnerable Sector Report. Requirements vary by junior/senior tutor role and subject; MathPro does not state that every tutor is a certified teacher.
