Privacy Policy & Disclaimer

Information you submit

You can browse MathTutorsNearMe.ca without creating an account. When you use our contact, correction or List Your Business forms, we receive the message you write, the page you sent it from and, if you choose to provide it, your email address. We use this only to review corrections, research or update listings, and reply to you.

Business listing submissions

Information a business sends us may be used to research and publish a public profile. We verify details against official and public sources before publishing, and we may decline or edit submissions.

Analytics and cookies

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which pages are visited, and our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs. Some features, and third-party services such as advertising, may set cookies or similar technologies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the directory still works without them.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Some pages may show advertisements served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings and learn more at How Google uses information in ads. Advertisements are always marked and are never directory listings.

Third-party links

Profiles link to tutoring providers' own websites and to maps. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Data retention

We keep messages and correction requests only as long as reasonably needed to handle them and to keep a record of changes to listings, then delete or anonymize them where practical.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete a message you sent us by contacting us. Please include the email address you used, if any.

Disclaimer

Listings are researched from official websites and public sources and dated, but programs, prices, hours and policies change. Always confirm details directly with the provider. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and we don't guarantee any academic outcome. Third-party ratings are shown with their platform and the date we observed them; we don't publish invented reviews.

Featured and Sponsored placements are paid and always labelled. They don't change how organic listings are researched or ordered.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
