Kumon of Edmonton – Millwoods East is a Mill Woods Kumon centre on Hewes Way NW. Students follow an individualized Kumon math program, from early number skills through arithmetic, fractions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, probability and statistics, working independently on daily worksheets.
Teaching approach: Kumon uses individualized worksheet study plans. Students work independently through Kumon materials in a shared centre environment under the instructor's supervision; it is not conventional small-group or private one-to-one tutoring, and daily Kumon assignments are Kumon curriculum rather than school-homework help.
1. Book a free placement assessment. 2. The instructor sets a starting level. 3. The student attends class and completes daily Kumon worksheets at home.
Tuition $170 per subject per month, plus an $80 enrollment fee and a $30 materials fee (current centre pricing page). Fees can change; confirm with the centre.
