Kumon of Edmonton – Bonnie Doon Mall is located inside Bonnie Doon Mall on 82 Avenue. Students follow an individualized Kumon math program, from early number skills through arithmetic, fractions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, probability and statistics, working independently on daily worksheets.
Teaching approach: Kumon uses individualized worksheet study plans. Students work independently through Kumon materials in a shared centre environment under the instructor's supervision; it is not conventional small-group or private one-to-one tutoring, and daily Kumon assignments are Kumon curriculum rather than school-homework help.
1. Book a free placement assessment. 2. The instructor sets a starting level. 3. The student attends class and completes daily Kumon worksheets at home.
Tuition $170 per subject per month, plus an $80 enrollment fee per student. The centre's pricing page lists a materials fee but shows no amount; contact the centre.
