Sylvan Learning of Victoria

Sylvan Learning of Victoria is physically located on McKenzie Avenue in Saanich. The centre offers K–12 personalized tutoring in math and other academic subjects, with online tutoring also available. Students begin with Sylvan's Insight Assessment. The current centre advertises a free assessment and provides SAT, ACT and IB test-preparation services. Current pricing ranges from $55 to $68 per session depending on membership term, plus a $149 one-time registration fee. Drop-in sessions are $68 per hour.

Teaching approach: Personalized tutoring delivered in a small-group instructional environment. Standard Sylvan tutoring is not private one-to-one.

Month-to-month $68 per session; 6-month membership $58 per session; 12-month membership $55 per session; one-time registration fee $149; drop-in single session $68/hour with no membership required. The $55 rate requires the 12-month membership.
