Spirit of Math Richmond

Spirit of Math Richmond is an after-school math enrichment campus for high-performing students from Kindergarten through Grade 11. Classes are held at Peace Mennonite Church on Daniels Road; Spirit of Math does not own the building. The program focuses on advanced drills, problem solving, logic, critical thinking and cooperative mathematical work, and math competitions are part of the environment. It is designed for students seeking a deeper and faster-paced math challenge — primarily students achieving approximately B+ or higher — rather than remedial tutoring. Homework help relates to the Spirit of Math curriculum, not general school-math homework. Enrolled students also get Brightspace lesson videos and digital resources; this campus does not run its classes online. New students must qualify through a complimentary assessment class or interview before registration; acceptance is not guaranteed. Tuition is charged by 13-lesson installment, with different fees for SK–8 and Grades 9–11.
