Kumon of Winnipeg — River Park

Kumon of Winnipeg — River Park is a Math and Reading learning centre on Dakota Street. Students begin with a free placement assessment and progress independently through Kumon's sequenced learning program. The math curriculum ranges from foundational arithmetic through algebra, trigonometry, calculus, probability and statistics. Students may use the program to fill learning gaps or progress above their school grade. Current tuition is $160 per subject per month, plus an $80 enrolment fee and $30 materials fee. The centre currently publishes virtual classes Monday through Thursday.

Teaching approach: Students work independently through individualized Kumon worksheets in a shared learning-centre setting with instructor guidance. This is not conventional group or one-to-one tutoring. Daily Kumon assignments are program work, not school-homework help.
