Kumon of Coquitlam — Westwood is a Math and Reading learning centre on Lougheed Highway. Students begin with a free placement assessment and work independently through Kumon's sequenced worksheet curriculum with instructor guidance. The math program is designed to fill learning gaps and develop independent problem solving, progressing from foundational arithmetic through advanced topics such as algebra, trigonometry, calculus and statistics. Students may work below, at or above their school grade. Current tuition is $190 per subject per month, plus an $80 enrolment fee and $30 materials fee.
