Kumon of Brandon — 18th & Park is a Math and Reading learning centre on 18th Street in Brandon. Students begin with a free placement assessment and progress independently through Kumon's sequenced learning program. The math curriculum ranges from early number skills through arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, probability and statistics. Students can use Kumon to strengthen learning gaps or progress above their current school grade. Current tuition is $180–$195 per subject per month, plus an $80 enrolment fee and $30 materials fee.
Teaching approach: Students work independently through individualized Kumon worksheets in a shared learning-centre environment with instructor guidance. This is not private one-to-one or conventional small-group tutoring. Daily Kumon assignments are program work, not school-homework help.
In-centre classes: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 4:00–7:30 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM–12:30 PM. Business hours (Tue–Fri 1:00–7:30 PM, Sat 9:00 AM–3:00 PM) are not class hours. No live virtual-class schedule is published for this centre; Kumon Connect is a digital worksheet platform, not live online tutoring. The free placement assessment carries no obligation to enrol. Kumon follows its own sequence, not Manitoba course codes.
